In November 2017, Brittany Kugler was part of activating an empty storefront on their main street through their visiting artist program. She talked to residents about their favorite spots in Union City. With that information she created a tapestry as a gift to the city.
Kugler is Union City, Indiana's Placemaking Associate for Fall 2018. As the Placemaking Associate Kugler is talking to citizens, assessing assets, and creating programming to help boost the arts economy and reinforce a city wide identity and pride in the arts.
